Horizon 2020 – ACT (Accelerating CCS Technologies) Call

ACT (Accelerating CCS Technologies), the Horizon 2020 COFUND has opened its 3rd call for applications.
The project involves Fourteen countries, regions and provinces including the UK. They are working together with the ambition to fund world class RD&D innovation that can lead to safe and cost effective CCUS technology. This includes supporting Research, Development, Demonstration and Innovation activities within CO2 capture, transport, utilisation and storage (CCUS).

Successful projects will receive funding to facilitate the emergence of CCUS in the energy and industrial sectors. The ACT ambition of accelerating the time to market for CCUS technology will require industrial involvement in research and innovation activities. Therefore, project proposals that are led by industrial partners are particularly welcome.
